Gas Prices Dropping for the Holidays
Fort Collins gas prices are dropping just in time for holiday travel. According to fortcollinsgasprices.com, the cheapest gallon of gas in Fort Collins was $3.08 when I published this blog. The National average was down to $3.29 and the price of a barrel of crude was around $86.
The travel season is expected to be the busiest since it hit a high in 2006. AAA is predicting that around 93 million Americans will hit the road and travel more than 50 miles.
I will be doing that about 6 times between now and New Year's Day. I have a few trips to ski resorts planned, Christmas in Fort Morgan and a potential trip to Denver, and the amount I travel may well be impacted by the prices of gas.
Does the price of gas affect how far you'll go?
