It's another weekend known for heavy partying, even with COVID-19 still on the rise in Colorado. Whether you're staying home this year or celebrating with friends, the Colorado Department of Transportation wants to remind you to never drive impaired.

Not only that, but CDOT is presenting an all-new mobile breathalyzer campaign: Take Some Time.

This weekend, if you're out at a party and thinking of getting in your vehicle after having a few drinks, use tools (like this one, linked) to help calculate the amount of time it will take your blood alcohol level to return to zero. Then, Take Some Time before getting behind the wheel.

CDOT Executive Director Shoshana Lew said in a press release, "The simple things we do to stay safe--wearing masks, social distancing, or getting a sober ride--are the fine margin between a fun holiday and a preventable disaster."

Be safe this weekend.
