Fort Collins’ REI to Expand After Another Store Closes
Outdoor recreation and sporting goods retailer REI is expanding its Fort Collins store into the space occupied by Aaron Brothers Art and Framing, which will be closing.
REI submitted a building permit application to the city of Fort Collins for a $1.38 million project that will add over 30,000 square feet to its current 50,000 square feet space for restrooms, storage, additional cashiers, and fitting rooms, the Coloradoan reports.
Officials from Aaron Brothers, owned and operated by Michael's, were not available for comment to the Coloradoan on the Fort Collins store's closure.
