Fort Collins Police Dog ‘Doc’ Retires
Fort Collins Police dog, Doc, has decided to call it a career as a K9 officer and announces his retirement. Fort Collins Police Services has highlighted Doc's successful career over the past six and a half years.
Doc started in 2014 and was one of two K9 SWAT Teams. Over the course of Doc's career, he assisted in more than 200 arrests, the capture of nine violent felony suspects, helped get drugs off the streets of Fort Collins, and assisted in searches.
Doc will spend his retirement with his handler, Officer Ross, and his family. Doc also has a new sibling as seen below.
