Fort Collins police arrest transient suspected of sexually assaulting woman in her home

The Coloradoan is reporting that Fort Collins police today arrested a transient named Herbert Daily, suspected of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman earlier this month in her Remington Street home.

On Feb. 8, police were notified of a sexual assault in the 600 block of Remington Street after a woman was seen by hospital personnel.  According to the woman, a man entered her apartment through an unlocked front door and entered her bedroom about 5:30 a.m. The suspect claimed to have a weapon.
