Fort Collins Polar Plunge Happening Saturday

The 2020 Fort Collins Polar Plunge, hosted by the Special Olympics of Colorado, is upon us.

The charity wants you to start "FREEZIN FOR A REASON", according to their Facebook event, when you plunge into their freezing cold pool to support Special Olympics athletes.

The jump happens tomorrow at 1 p.m.��at Maxline Brewing. There are so many food and drink deals for the plungers: for one, all plungers 21+ get a free beer after they make the jump. Dan's Van is offering two free sliders to plungers, while Rolling Stone Pizza (my personal favorite) is offering two slices of pizza. No matter what, according to Special Olympics Colorado, "Plungers get to chose 1 meal from any of our food trucks on Saturday! Or you can get $5 off any other menu item at the trucks with your meal ticket!" YUM!
