Join us this weekend for the 15th Annual First National Bank Taste Of Fort Collins at Civic Center Park in Old Town Fort Collins.  The festivities go on from 11am-9pm on Saturday and 11am-8pm on Sunday.

There will be great food, vendors, crafts, beer, wine, and the Kidz Zone and there will be great live music throughout the weekend. This week, we are continuing to highlight all the bands playing so you can see why we’re so excited about them.

Taking the stage at 5pm on Saturday will be none other than 'Fierce Bad Rabbit.'

WHO: Fierce Bad Rabbit

WHEN: Saturday June 11th, 5:00PM

  • Chris Anderson
  • Dayton Hicks
  • Alana Rolfe
  • Adam Pitner
According to the band's official bio, the members "were magnetically drawn together to create indie pop music with a hook and a heart." Judging by their strong local following, their growing music collection, their upcoming tour and plethora of local shows, as well their involvement as a SpokesBUZZ artist, they are well on their way towards many great things.

The group formed in 2009 and has ties to several other local bands. Front man Chris Anderson used to be in ‘The Jimi Austin.’ Dayton Hicks was the bass player for ‘Arliss Nancy’, front woman and violist Alana Rolfe does double duty with fellow SpokesBUZZ artist ‘Stella Luce’ and Adam Pitner was the original drummer for ‘Tickle Me Pink.

The band pulls in influences from the likes of ‘Arcade Fire’, ‘The Shins’, and ‘Waylon Jennings. ’ They have taken their diverse musical background and created something special. I like it, and I'm stoked to see them play.  But I'll let their music speak for itself, check out the official video for their song 'All I Have Is You.'

Where did the name 'Fierce Bad Rabbit' come from? The Beatrix Potter children's book, "The Story Of A Fierce Bad Rabbit."

Fierce Bad Rabbit will be playing again Saturday night after The Taste Of Fort Collins is all wrapped up for the day at Hodi's Half Note.  They also have a number of local shows happening this summer and will be touring in Wyoming, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska.
