    Pharrell Williams with "Come Get It Bae."   An American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, musician and fashion designer.  Early on he was in his school's marching band, he also plays drums and the keyboard.  He has said that one of A Tribe Called Quests albums caused a "turning point" in his life, which "made me see that music was art".

    Colbie Caillat with "Try."  An American pop singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist from Malibu, California.  She debuted in 2007 with the hit singles "Bubbly" and "Realize."  She got significant inspiration for her career from Lauryn Hill.  She also tried out on American Idol, but was rejected.  Everything happens for a reason.
