Colorado Parks and Wildlife responded to a call this week that involved getting a bull elk out of a swimming pool.

CPW shared on Facebook that Wildlife Officer Rylands, along with Estes Park Police Officer Skylar Watson, rescued the elk on Sunday, August 23.

Residents in Estes are no strangers to elk hanging around, and with as hot as it's been, who can blame one for wanting to take a dip? CPW reminds you to 'take a moment and look around your property and remove any materials that may entangle wildlife,' especially as many flee the wildfires.
