I'll admit, I haven't made the switch to electric cars yet. For one, I'm still driving my mom's old Hyundai to save money on car payments so, there's that. Are electric cars worth the cost, though? Members of the Fort Collins community are ready to prove yes.

This Saturday, April 13, Environment Colorado, The City of Fort Collins, Northern Colorado Clean Cities, and Drive Electric Northern Colorado will highlight the electric future of Colorado at The Car Show of the Future. Elected officials including Wade Troxell, John Kefalas, and Gerry Horak as well as local electric vehicle owners and other electric experts will discuss climate change, money saving techniques, and more.

The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Snowbank Brewing, so stop by, have a beer, and learn how to make the earth a cleaner place.
