Ebola in Colorado — A Denver Patient Is Being Monitored for the Deadly Disease
Could Ebola be as close to home as Denver? A patient with a fever is being monitored at a Denver hospital for the deadly disease.

In a press release from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment a low-risk patient for Ebola was admitted to Denver Health for monitoring Sunday night.
The patient, who has not been identified, has of traveled to an Ebola-affected country. This coupled with a fever overnight was cause to seek additional evaluation and monitoring.
Monday morning several specialists determined that the patients condition and low-risk status didn't require testing for Ebola. The patient will continue to be monitored for now in an effort to treat this situation with extreme caution.
