Dumb Criminal of the Day – Man Gets Into Police Chase Because He Always Wanted To [VIDEO]

Someone's been playing too much Grand Theft Auto.

During early A.M. hours, John Hughes of Montana started tailgating a police car.  After about seven blocks, he abruptly turned his SUV around and sped off at 70mph.

Needless to say, a police chase ensued.

The chase had reached speeds in excess of 100mph on an interstate by the time police laid out a spike strip to flatten Hughes' tires.

When asked why he started the chase, Hughes said, "I just always wanted to do that," according to the police report.

That doesn't make it a good idea, Johnny!  Here's a video report on the incident.
