DUI Enforcement Upped This Weekend in Northern Colorado

It's never a good idea to drink and drive... It's an extremely bad idea to do it in Northern Colorado this weekend. That is unless you like spending the night in jail and also spending thousands of dollars on a DUI. 

Since I am pretty sure that is no ones idea of fun, I am here to warn you that police in Colorado will be stepping up DUI enforcement this weekend. The increased enforcement coincides with springtime gatherings and high school proms.

The efforts are part of the Colorado State Patrol’s “Zero Fatalities, Zero Tolerance” campaign, which ramps up Friday night through Monday morning.

Oh by the way, cops are going to also be looking extra close for drivers who are behind the wheel while stoned.
