Drew Barrymore’s Half-Sister Found Dead in California

Drew Barrymore’s half-sister, Jessica, was found dead early Tuesday (July 29, 2014) in California.  The cause of death is still under investigation, but pills were found with her body, as she was found in her car that was blocking a woman’s driveway.

Jessica Barrymore who passed away on Tuesday (July 30, 2014) was Drew Barrymore’s half-sister; the two shared the same father, John Barrymore. Jessica was about seven years older than Drew.

Drew quoted to People Magazine about Jessica’s death:

Although I only met her briefly, I wish her and her loved ones as much peace as possible, and I'm so incredibly sorry for their loss

Jessica’s Facebook page finds quotes and goats. Nothing really out of the ordinary.

The two estranged sisters hardly knew their father, the famed and troubled John Barrymore Jr., either.

Fame. Never easy.
