CEOWORLD Magazine has recognized Colorado State University's Dr. Temple Grandin as one of the top 10 college professors in the United States.

Ranking her as the seventh best in the country, the magazine praised Grandin for being a "prominent author and speaker," and acknowledged her work in the worlds of autism and animal science.

Grandin was born with severe autism in 1947. She later overcame numerous obstacles to become an innovative figure in the agricultural field.

She is currently a professor of Animal Science at CSU, and the university is honoring her with the Temple Grandin Equine Center.

Claire Danes starred in a 2010 film about Grandin's life and her impact in the animal sciences and autism research.
