Downtown Loveland Becomes ‘Wholand’ for Holiday Festivities December 2nd!
What town is known for being so nice and joyous for the Christmas/Holiday season? Whoville, of course! Wednesday, December 2nd, Loveland will be taking a note from the Whos and turning Downtown Love-land into Who-Land!
‘Tis the season of holiday lighting festivities! They are a time for communities to gather and celebrate old and new traditions! This Wednesday, Loveland will begin a new tradition, with their ‘WhoLand- A Loveland ‘Whoville’ Christmas: Holiday Tree-Lighting and Downtown Celebration!’
Get off work early that afternoon, and get to the Civic Center by 5:30. That’s when they’ll light the tree and kickoff Wholand in Downtown Loveland! This is going to be fun! After they light the tree, carolers will guide folks from the Civic Center into Downtown Loveland (Wholand!)
The night’s festivities will run from until 8:00 p.m.in Downtown; with the carolers, entertainment, horse-drawn carriage rides, pictures with Santa, Wholandish characters and others. Participating downtown businesses will have specials, and some will be competing to see who decorated their windows the best- Visitors to ‘Wholand’ will help decide!
You can wrap up the night by taking in a great Christmas move- ‘The Santa Clause’ with Tim Allen! It will showing at The Wholand Rialto Theater at 7:00 for $5!
