Dog Was to Be Put Down For Being “Gay”

This story made me *facepalm* myself. You know where you put your hand on your face because of something so dumb you just can't believe it? Sometimes I wonder about humanity. This dogs owner saw him mount another male dog and said "no way am I having a gay dog" so what did he do? He took it to the humane society to be put down.

Are you freaking kidding me? To each their own for having their own beliefs and what not, but getting rid of a dog just because he mounted another dog is freaking ridiculous! Does the owner not know that some dogs do that to establish dominance?

Luckily Elton, the dog, was saved, in a way,  by a lady that worked at the Tennessee  humane society. She took to facebook and posted a picture of the dog and said that he was to be put down because his owner didn't want a "gay" dog.

Luckily, people on the internets caught wind of this story and thousands of people called and shared the story, all wanting to save the dog. Guess what? He has a new home! He was spared thanks to people caring and not being stupid.
