Do Sad Things Make You Happy? [Video]

Last night I was watching Emmylou Harris and Mumford & Sons on CMT Crossroads and Emmylou Harris made the statement "Sad songs make me happy." I couldn't agree more. Like Adele's "Someone Like You", it's so terribly sad, but it  feels good to have a song cut to your core. Happy or sad. Do you agree? I could say the same things about movies. Sad movies, although sad, make me happy to feel something so deep. Hope Floats tops sad movies for me, just breaks me down.
