Disney Pixar Release Extended Preview for ‘Brave’

This summer’s animated adventure ‘Brave’ is Pixar’s first foray into the world of fairy tales, something Disney is no stranger too. It will also be Pixar’s first female-driven film.

The story? A young Scot woman with a mane off frizzy red hair fights the odds to battle a fierce beast while becoming a valiant hero. Check out the newly released preview footage below.

This new clip below is two- minutes from the film, but you can see more in the official trailer below. Looks like a great flick!  ‘Brave’ hits theaters on June 22nd.

Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor. Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin, surly Lord Macintosh and cantankerous Lord Dingwall. Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish.
