Many  of us have been twiddling our thumbs, wondering when live music will return to Northern Colorado. After a year of being stuck inside, or going out and experiencing limited capacity at our favorite venues (and some of those venues closing completely), it's about time to get back to normal.

Diplo is one of those artists who has officially announced a new tour: On May 12 and May 13, he'll be stopping by Red Rocks. Check out his Instagram announcement below, which already has over 22,000 likes.

Diplo is touring with artist duo Sidepiece, a house/electronic DJ team featuring Nitti Gritti and Party Favor.

This announcement comes after Red Rocks Amphitheatre shared that the venue was approved for its COVID-19 variance request: The state of Colorado will officially allow 2,500 concert-goers at Red Rocks this summer.

According to the concert announcement from AEG,

Masks will be required when not actively eating or drinking, and hand sanitizer stations will be available at key locations throughout the venue.

There will also be four sections in the seating bowl that will be modified to support social distancing guidelines, each with a separate entrance.

Dust off your glow sticks and get ready for a party: Even Tiesto commented and said, "I’ll come hang with you guys." Tickets are officially on sale right here.
