Daily Dose of Weird: Woman is in Love with Statue of Liberty [VIDEO][POLL]

Love is a very powerful emotion.  That special connection between two people is often described as the best feeling in the world.  But what about when that connection isn't between two people, but between a person and oh, say, a 151-foot tall iconic landmark?

It's a condition called object sexuality; and yes, it is a thing.  It states that some people become physically and emotionally attracted to inanimate objects.

The first I ever heard of this was several years ago, when I heard of a woman marrying the Eiffel Tower.  Now meet Amanda Whittaker; or, as she prefers to be called, Amanda Liberty.

She's now visited the iconic New York landmark she calls her lover four times, hugging and kissing and carressing the 151ft green lady whenever she goes. As for her bedroom, it's covered in Statue Of Liberty memorabilia, with her prize item being a 6ft reproduction of the grand ol' dame.
