If you have about $1,800 laying around and you need some new shoes, then Rayfish Footwear might be able to help you. They raise genetically modified stingrays specifically for the purpose of using their leather to make shoes. You pick out a design and they modify the stingray to have that pattern and then they turn it into a shoe. A lot of people are up in arms over this for the fact that they are calling it inhumane to do this. My thoughts are, most of what we wear, eat and use came from some type of animal that was raised for that specific purpose, so why is this any different? Rayfish's facebook seems to be nothing but people bashing the sight and spamming them with nasty comments.

What are your thoughts about this?
