Couples Stick it Out for Kissing Record

One of the greatest expressions of love world wide is a kiss on Valentine's Day, and the people in Thailand are looking to set a record with the worlds longest kiss. The couples in the contest are given a square to stand in and cannot sit,sleep or

leave the venue and have to remain lip locked the entire time. The only exception to the rule is when someone has to use the restroom they are able to sit but they still have to be kissing (awkward).
the contestants are looking to break the last world record of 32 hours. The prize for the winners is a diamond ring valued around at $1500.00 and $ 3000.00 in prize money.
The event is held on Valentine's Day in Thailand where kissing in public is not a common act.That should make for an interesting view seeing all these couples lip locked.
One thing that i am wondering is why is chap stick not a sponsor of this event.Could you imagine the chapped lips after the contest?
