Let's test your driving knowledge, shall we?

My former high school required all students (once they were of age) to take Driver's Ed — I was excited until I found out that instead of actually getting behind the wheel, we'd be preparing all semester to take the written driver's test (bummer).

While I dreaded the prep and the actual test for months, I wound up passing with flying colors.

The question is... if I had to do it all again today, could I?

Simply put, probably not.

BUT, could you?

According to the Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles, any person who operates a motor vehicle, motorcycle or moped on public streets and highways in Colorado is required to be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s license or learner’s permit. In addition, applicants are required to pass all required examinations (physical, vision, written test and/or driving test) and pay the required fees.

The Colorado DMV written test consists of 25 questions covering road signs, driving rules, safety rules and legal items. In order to pass, you must correctly answer at least 20 questions (80%).

Put your drivers knowledge to the test and see if you can answer a series of actual questions taken directly from Colorado's written drivers test:
