History will be made Friday (April 3) when the first legal marijuana delivery system begins in Colorado.

Last year, Governor Jared Polis signed legislation allowing cannabis delivery services. It's a particularly lucky coincidence that this order is coming into effect amid a pandemic, when we need delivery services most.

As of now, delivery is limited to medical cannabis patients only, and will be available to recreational users in January 2021.

Native Roots, however, announced that its Boulder location, The Dandelion, has received the state's first marijuana delivery license, according to WeedMaps.

So, if you live in the Boulder or Superior area, have a medical marijuana membership with Native Roots and purchase a minimum of $100, marijuana will be delivered to your door starting Friday.
