Colorado Woman Buys PS4 Off Of Craigslist That Ends Up Being a Box of Towels

Some advice: Always, ALWAYS check the product you are buying before going home with it, especially when buying off of Craigslist!

A woman in Colorado Springs learned that lesson the hard way. She was looking for a PS4 to give her son as a Christmas Gift. She saw an ad on the ever popular Craigslist and responded to it.

She met the seller in a motel lobby and paid cash. After she paid, the seller took off and when she opened the box... towels! That's right, she found out that she had just paid a good chunk of change for a PS4 box full of towels.

She was not able to track down the seller and now the police are investigating.

The buyer described the seller as a black man, 5'11", wearing dark pants and a gray hooded-sweatshirt. He fled in a blue or green Toyota Corolla that was waiting in the parking lot.
