This means using marijuana in public at a concert venue is illegal and punishable as a misdemeanor with a fine of $100. Having an open container of marijuana in your vehicle could result in a ticket for $115.

It is illegal in Colorado to use marijuana in public parks, movie theaters, sporting events, and bars or restaurants. You are not allowed to use marijuana on public transportation either.
