Colorado Eagles Prepare For Season With First Practice

Who's ready for some hockey? Loveland's Colorado Eagles are back for their 10th season as they hit the ice for their first practice of the season.

The team showed their nerves as they hit the ice in order to prepare for the season. 10 year veteran Riley Nelson expressed his excitement for the season,“I wouldn't be doing it if I still didn't get excited every year to play the game, obviously it’s a deep passion for me to play so I’m just excited to get it going.”

A few of last years players have moved on but new additions have been made to the team including some of Denver University's former players Kyle Ostrow and Gabe Gauthier.

You can catch the Eagles in action at Budweiser Event center with their first game planned for October 5th.
