Colorado Considering Background Checks for Youth Sports
Colorado may become the first state to require background checks for individuals who work for and within youth sports organizations.
As the Coloradoan reported, the state Senate is working on a proposal that would require background checks for employees in a hope to address concerns about sex abuse in youth sports leagues outside schools.
The proposal would also require background checks on volunteers that go on overnight trips with the children.
So sound off, what do you think on this?
