Chippers Horsetooth Center to Become a Part of Fort Collins’ Art Scene

People have been bowling at Horsetooth and Mason for decades. Soon, people will be stopping at that location to get a better look at the art that will be there!

Soon, travelers on Fort Collins' MAX Bus will get some great art to look at, as the bus passes the backside of Chippers Horsetooth Center!

The Fort Collins Mural Project approached the owners of Chippers about the idea and the owners wrapped their arms around the idea. The wall is 20 x 80 and will have a mural done by one of three potential artists. That’s where the public comes in.

On June 29, 2017, Chippers Horsetooth Center will be hosting a fundraiser for the mural project. This will also be the date that one of three murals will be chosen for the wall. This will be a ton a fun; $20 gets you into the event that will run from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., for unlimited bowling and laser tag- with all the money going to the mural project! And you’ll be on hand to help decide what will be going on that great big wall!

Tickets for the fundraiser are available at The Downtown Artery in Fort Collins. You can also inquire about sponsoring a lane for the night; that will get a free pitcher of beer, a team on a lane for up to six bowlers, and banner placement.
