Check out what CSU’s Players Get From the Arizona Bowl

It's that time of year where the apple cinnamon plug-ins permeate the air, the Christmas tree lights are sparkling and the glow of the TV showcases the best in college football. At least that's the set up I have going in my house.

Big congratulations to the CSU Rams for winning out their final four games to finish 7-5 on the season, 5-3 in the Mountain West conferenced and tied for second place in the MWC with University of New Mexico, Boise State, and Utah State.

They've accepted their bid to the inaugural Arizona Bowl on December 29th versus Nevada. For my fellow Geeks Who Drink contestants here's a bit of trivia, it's the first time two teams from the same conference have met up in post season play (with the exception of National Championship games) since Oklahoma and Nebraska did it in the 1979 Orange Bowl.

So, what besides a trip to the warmth of the Arizona sun will the players be getting?  A brand new set of custom Cowtown cowboy boots.  While those are pretty fancy you should see what some other bowl games are giving as their special gifts.  Anywhere from headphones to life-sized decals of each individual player.  The full list is here.
