Summer is winding down, which means a whole new wave of seasonal celebrations are here. Say goodbye to greasy, fried food, rodeos and carnival rides found at summertime events, and give a warm welcome to festivals filled with pumpkins, cider and all things fall. On Saturday, September 24, the Northern Colorado community is invited to the annual Taste in Timnath Fall Festival – a free celebration happening from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in Old Town Timnath, that's perfect for the entire family! There will be all sorts of fall-themed family-friendly activities, like pumpkin decorating and hay rides, plus a craft fair featuring lots of local vendors. Union Gray will be providing live music all afternoon long! For an entry fee of $5, those who are 13-years and older are welcome to stop by the fall-inspired food stations located in the tasting garden, where there will also be beer and wine pairings for those over the age of 21.

This year's event also includes a 5K run/walk. The scenic course begins at Timnath Elementary School, takes runners north up to Timnath Reservoir, where they will then turn back and run straight into the festival entrance. Registration will be taking place at 8 a.m., and is $25 for adults and $10 for kids, with proceeds benefiting the Food Bank of Larimer County. Racers can also pre-register early online. Each participant will receive a t-shirt and entry into the tasting garden at the festival.
