End Of An Era As Wingman Restaurant In Colorado Closes Its Last Location

In a bittersweet turn of events for chicken wing lovers across Colorado, Wingman Restaurant, a beloved chicken wing restaurant in Colorado, has closed its doors for the last time. The closure marks the end of an era as this was Colorado's very last Wingman location.

I first found Wingman when it took over the old Woody's Wings location on 104th and Pecos in Northglenn, Colorado. That particular restaurant always seemed to be jumping as they served up some fire wings.

Juicy and covered in sauce, Wingman's wings were hard to beat. The Northglenn location was eventually sold to The Wing Cave and Grill in 2012, which is still open today. After that spot closed, if you wanted WIngman, you had to go to Brighton, Colorado, and now, they're gone too.

Wingman In Brighton, Colorado, Closed And Sold To Wing Shack

Wing Shack, which just celebrated the 20th anniversary of their very first location in Garden City back in 2004, is rapidly expanding as they're quickly becoming one of Colorado's favorite places for wings.

In 2023, they opened a new location in Downtown Johnstown, and now, they're expanding into the Brighton market by taking over this beloved favorite.

Neither Wingman's website nor social media accounts confirm when the closure is happening, but a handful of calls to their store lead us to believe that the store has already closed as their number appears to be disconnected. Google also has them listed as closed permanently.

Wing Shack confirmed the takeover on their Instagram as seen in the video below.

The former Wingman location will undergo some quick renovations as Wing Shack plans to open the new Brighton location in August sometime, just in time for football season. The sad news is, that our beloved Wingman is no longer available in Colorado. The good news is that Wing Shack is fantastic so wing lovers in the are are in great hands. Get those wetnaps ready...
