The e-scooters you see in Denver are one step closer to hittin' the streets of Fort Collins following a city council meeting.

According to CBS4 in Denver, on February 19, the city passed a set of rules that 'specify where scooters could be used and parked' and Fort Collins could see the e-scooters show up on sidewalks (and other places: see below) as early as this summer.

The e-scooters would be used in Old Town and on the CSU campus. Referencing a press release from the City of Fort Collins, the e-scooters would be a way to 'help fill...geographic gaps in the City's transit system, reduce motorized vehicle emissions, improve air quality, expand sustainable travel throughout the city, and provide additional sustainable travel options for those who are mobility-challenged.'
