Body Recovered From Lake Near Windsor

The Greeley Fire Department dive team recovered a body from a lake near Larimer County Road 13 and Colo. 392 on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Greeley Tribune, the family of a 57-year-old Windsor male reported him missing after he did not return home when he was supposed to from going out to use a remote-controlled boat. Crews found among the man’s belongings a remote control device for the boat and the boat itself on the other side of the water storage reservoir.

They used a boat to search the surface of the water, and called in the dive team from Greeley. About 10 minutes after the divers went in, they found a body. Results of an autopsy are not yet available.
