Blue Christmas Update: Almost $150,000 Raised So Far
Even though the holidays are over, the big blue tree on Mulberry and College is still shining.
This means that we still need your help for Townsquare Cares: Blue Christmas, our campaign to help Realities for Children with their NightLights fundraiser.
The fundraiser allows the public to sponsor a light on the NightLights Tree, with 100% of the proceeds going towards the care of the local abused, neglected, or at-risk children that Realities for Children helps.
While a typical sponsorship is $100, the non-profit graciously accepts any amount. No matter how big or small, every donation helps to bring these children out of the darkness of child abuse.
We want to say a huge 'thank you!' to everyone who has donated as of yet. Because ofo your generosity, the NightLights campaign has raised $146,013 so far.
However, these children are in need of help far beyond the holidays. In order to provide them with year-round care, Realities for Children is hoping to raise up to $250,000.
The fundraiser ends on December 31, which means we have five days left to reach our goal.
