Have you seen his video of a bison charging a group of tourists in Yellowstone National Park and nearly taking out a young boy?

It reminded me that we, as people, are not always the smartest creatures on earth. I'm just glad everyone walked away without getting hurt.

Embedding of the video has been disabled so you'll have you click the link and watch it on YouTube. It starts getting really hairy about a minute into the video.

According to Fox 31, park officials have been warning people to stay away from wild animals in the park, especially during their respective mating seasons, but that didn't stop this group of tourists from walking close enough to this 2,000+ pound beast to try and take a few close-up pictures.

Hey dummies, this is why they invented zoom lenses on cameras!

You can even hear the guy who was taking the video warning people that the thing was getting upset.

Sure enough, the bison charged and nearly took out a young boy in the group. Now, if he had caught the boy, I 'm not sure the kid would have survived this little ordeal. And I find it a little disconcerting that  the man who appears to be the kid's father can be seen running back to the camera, laughing.

"Ha ha ha, hey did you just see my son almost get killed?"

I'm going to say these people need a serious lesson on encounters with wild animals, self-preservation, and parenting.

Wild animals are beautiful and amazing to see, but most of them can kill us without much effort.

I'm just sayin'...park rangers aren't telling you to stay back just to ruin your little hike through the forest. They'd rather not have to clean your entrails off of the park grounds.
