According to the Coloradoan, a bell ringer for the Salvation Army made off with $400 from the kettle. Last Friday at around 7 p.m. an officer was coming to pick up the donation kettle at the King Soopers off of Timberline when the bell ringer decided that they wanted to keep the money and ran off. A police report has been filed and the suspect will no longer be working for the Salvation Army... Obviously.
