Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials have tranquillized a baby black bear after it was discovered at a home in southwest Fort Collins hiding underneath the patio.

The bear was also spotted on Thursday near Harmony Road and Rolling Gates Road.The bear was tranquilized and has since been moved to rehabilitation as the young cub is too young to be released back into the wild.

It's not everyday that you will encounter a bear in your backyard, however, should you ever ecounter a bear it is never a good idea to approach it or let it approach you.
