Armed Robbers Leave Getaway Car Running, Store Employee ‘Steals’ It During Heist
A getaway car is a necessity for most armed robbers. However a getaway driver is a different story. At least that’s what these two morons in California thought.
According to Mirror, two men pulled their car into a Burger King parking lot and burst in the doors, guns drawn, demanding money. One of the BK employees snuck out the back door to call police and noticed their getaway car parked with the engine running and the doors unlocked. So, he jumped in the driver’s seat and pulled the car around the corner, out of sight.
When the robbers tried to flee the scene, they found their car was gone and took off on foot, with police hot on their trail.
I think that employee probably deserves a raise and the two moron behind the caper deserve a little time behind bars.
