Angry Telemarketer Causes Bomb Scare in Mead, Colorado

We have all experienced the pleasure of telemarketers. That call when you are usually busy eating dinner or heading to the bathroom to ask if you are happy with your phone service or whatever. Most of us say not interested, or if you are like my grandma, you just hang up before they get to finish their first scripted sentence. We get annoyed that they called, but how annoyed do they get that we hang up all the time? Apparently, they can get so annoyed that they resort to bomb threats. A man in Mead, CO experienced a telemarketer call, told him "no" and hung up. No big deal. That was until the telemarketer called back and said that he had planted a bomb in his house. The man immediately called the police who had his neighbors evacuated while they searched. No bomb was found. Police are still trying to find the origin of the call. The man said that he thought the call had come from "overseas" based on the man's thick accent.

Who does that? I get that maybe you hate getting hung up on and I know you are just trying to earn a paycheck but seriously. You should have known that you were going to get hangups going into that profession.
