It's been seven years since the last Allegiant flight out of 'Fort Collins' left the ground. They've decided to come back, and are celebrating with cheap flights.

Just the other day, this contributor was giving Allegiant a hard time for grabbing naming rights for the new Raiders stadium.  Now, maybe they're trying to get back on my good side. If so, it worked.

Allegiant just announced that they're returning to Fort Collins. Technically, it's the Northern Colorado Regional Airport, but your ticket will read 'Fort Collins.' That's fine with me, as long as they bring back those cheap flights to Sin City.

They'll be flying to Las Vegas (McCarran) again starting November 21, 2019, and to Phoenix (Phoenix-Mesa Gateway) starting the day after that; both just in time for a little holiday getaway.

The Vegas route will run four times a week, with the Phoenix route only running twice a week.

To celebrate the new venture, they're offering one-way flights for as low as $49, not counting bag fees, seat assignment and such.  I just did a quick search, flying to Vegas on November 21, and returning on the 24; the cost before add-ons was under $200 round-trip.

It will definitely be nice to once again have the opportuity to fly out of Fort Collins as opposed to DIA; no question.
