Colorado's famous Casa Bonita reopened in May of 2023, but it was an invite-only situation to get into the popular restaurant and entertainment destination. The invitation-only system is now officially over, and the general public demand is absolutely insane.

What may go down as one of the most obnoxious and despised entry systems of all time is officially gone, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be any easier to get a spot inside Colorado's newly renovated Casa Bonita.

When planning the re-opening, there was serious concern that the demand would be far greater than the staff, restaurant, and current traffic/parking infrastructure would be able to handle. Turns out, they were absolutely right.

After an email invite-only system to gain entry into Casa Bonita since May of 2023, the restaurant kicked off its open general public reservation system on September 16th. They opened the reservations early to its "Founding Members" first, and the demand is far more than even they likely predicted.

For anyone wondering if the crazy demand is still there for Casa Bonita nearly a year and a half after re-opening, the answer is yes. I, and everybody else apparently, got an invite to join Casa Bonita's Founders Club, which meant you were given early access to the new general public reservation system.

The reservations opened up to everybody at 3 pm MT on September 16th, but being a "Founding Member," I was able to hop in the presale queue. My number in the queue absolutely blew me away...

Yup, I was number 50,750 in the queue to book my reservation. Let's do the math, Casa Bonita has a capacity of 1,100, and they only had reservations open for October and November, with limited hours still. You had to see this next part coming...

13 minutes after joining the queue, it ended, and I was told to join the general public on sale at 3 pm. I'll be 100% honest, I only was in line to see how long it would take. I went in December and while the building renovations and shows were fantastic, worth the wait for that part for sure, the food was pretty meh... Here are some pix and my full review of Casa Bonita.

Colorado's Casa Bonita Worth The Wait And Money? Full Review With Pix

Yes, Casa Bonita is back, and better than ever. It's truly remarkable how they were able to re-do so much, yet it still felt just as "homey" as it has all these years. They didn't take away the things that made Casa Bonita the Colorado, and now the worldwide icon that it is. Let me start with the look... It looks fantastic. They nailed the upgrades and renovations. The service was phenomenal. The entertainment was fantastic as well. The food? We'll get to that... But allow us to take you inside and give you a sneak peek at the Colorado Icon that is, Casa Bonita!

This Local Colorado Mexican Restaurant Is One Of The Best

After opening in 2008, Las Palmeras Mexican Restaurant has become one of the area's very best locally-owned places to get delicious, and authentic Mexican food. We found this place by accident years ago while driving hungry down Main Street in Longmont and have been regulars ever since.

The owner, the staff, the food, and the drinks are all top notch and that's what makes this one of Colorado's top choices for delicious Mexican food. It's also a perfect place to watch sports!
