You probably know the song 'Good Things Fall Apart' featuring singer Jon Bellion by now ('cus it's a total banger), but you may not have known it's by a 28-year-old DJ from Denver, who goes by the name Illenium.

1) His real name is Nick Miller.

Not this Nick Miller.

This Nick Miller.

2. He calls Denver home.

But, he's not originally from here. He moved to Colorado in 2013 and attended University of Colorado Denver.

3. Illenium began taking music seriously after going to a show at Red Rocks.

'Four years ago, Miller was just another fan in the crowd', Billboard wrote in 2016.  'Everything changed, however, when he saw Bassnectar perform at Red Rocks in the summer of 2012.'

'When I saw him, I got Ableton the next day,' Illenium said.

4. Before focusing on music, he overdosed on heroin.

He credits music for saving his life from opiate addiction, sharing on Facebook in 2018 that six years prior, he overdosed.

5. Now, Illenium himself sells out headlining Red Rocks gigs.

The EDM DJ recently booked three consecutive nights at Red Rocks; two sold out, and one was canceled due to winter weather conditions.
