4 Dead In Murder-Suicide In Longmont’s Longview Subdivision

The last thing I want to do this morning is hear any more tragic news, but there has been another tragedy, this one, close to home. 9News is reporting that five people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in Longmont this morning.

*Update* KDVR is reporting that police found four bodies, not the previously reported five

Apparently the bodies were found early this morning in the Longview subdivision near County Road 3.5 and Highway 119 in Longmont, Colorado. 9News is also saying that the victims names and any other details about the case are not yet being released.

Police are investigating and the news media is descending on the scene, you can follow the stories from 9News, CBS 4, Fox 31, and 7 News.

December is supposed to be a time of joy and togetherness, but December 2012 has seen far too much tragedy. My thoughts and condolences to all those affected.
