Remind me to never go camping on a frozen tundra.

A group of 20 tourists decided to go camping on a ice sheet in Canada, when the ice sheet they were on broke free and was carried out to sea.  It drifted 2 miles out to sea and it began to crumble. To make things worse, helicopters were unable to rescue them because of high winds, but they were able to drop supplies.

Good news is that the 30 mile wide ice slab that they were on, drifted to another slab of ice that was touching solid land. The campers were able to walk across the make shift "ice bridge" to safety.

Happy ending but I bet some of them will think twice about camping on the ice again.
