Okay, what the heck is going in with the world? Yesterday a former teacher in Greeley plead guilty to sexual assault on a student after she gave birth to his child, this morning we got news of a 14-year-old being shot by a fellow student in an Atlanta middle school, and now Fox 31 is reporting that a 14-year-old boy from Thornton Middle School was arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a fellow student.

A 14-year-old female said she was forcibly pulled into a bathroom and sexually assaulted by a male classmate.

Both victim and assailant were reportedly students at the school and the boy is in custody for investigation of sexual assault.

He’s 14! Why the heck is a 14-year-old feel the need to sexually assault another girl at his school?

I know things are different than when I was in middle school, but back then holding hands was a big deal. Sexual assault was un-frickin-heard of.

This spiral of terrible news involving schools just seems to get worse by the day.

What kind of upbringing and what kind of life did this kid have that made him think something like this was okay?! I’m just baffled…
