Poudre Fire Authority reports that 13 students have been transported to hospital. Haz-Mat crews are working to determine source.  Blevins Middle School will have 2:00 pm dismissal. Normal procedures apply.

Poudre School District has evacuated the school, and students have been moved to the rear, or west side, of the building on South Taft Hill Road.

Five ambulances and Poudre Fire Authority responded to the initial call about 12:25 p.m., which included reports of an odor in the school. PFA spokesman Patrick Love said initial reports indicated the odor came from a lab classroom.

Gary Kimsey, Poudre Valley Hospital spokesman, said at 1:15 p.m. that nine students were being transported to the hospital and two more were expected. He said the nature of their medical illness is not yet known, however, he said it doesn't appear the students are facing life-threatening medical issues.
