Yellowcard Covers Katy Perry’s ‘E.T.’

Katy Perry is the talk of music headlines right now because she could be the first artist since Michael Jackson to have 5 number-one singles off of an album if "Last Friday Night" goes to the top. What better timer for a band to do a Katy Perry cover song, right?

Yellowcard was just featured on Billboard's Mashup Monday with an acoustic cover of "E.T." complete with pop-punk-angst and a violin.  Check out the video!

It's kind of interesting to find out that Perry actually sang with Yellowcard on one of their albums in 2007 when she first singed on with Capitol Records.
