With a great win Homecoming weekend the CSU Rams Football team has moved to a 6-1 record (2-1 in the conference) and is sitting just outside the top 25 in both major College Football polls. On Saturday the Rams moved to 6-1 after beating Utah State on a game winning 46-yard field goal by Jared Roberts that prompted the sold-out Huges Stadium crowd to rush the field. Technically the Rams are in the top 30, however the polls really only look at the top 25. With several other teams holding 2 losses on the season, the only thing that seems to be keeping CSU from a top 25 ranking is strength of schedule. However another decisive win may be too much for the pollsters to keep a good team down.
